It was founded through a joint effort by the three Stockholm universities, Royal Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University and its main activities will be housed in newly built premises in the vicinity of Karolinska Institutet and Karolinska University Hospital in Solna.

PWC_rep26.02.2010  PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) published a report on biodiversity and business risk for the World Economic Forum in Davos in January.3 It asked 1,200 chief executives about threats to business growth and found 27% were either 'extremely' or 'somewhat' concerned about biodiversity loss. Concern was low relative to risks such as oil price hikes and a slowing Chinese economy.

08.02.2010 In July 2010, a new EU logo for organic products will be introducedLogo1_pos_26throughout the European Union. Contrary to the existing EU organic logo, which can be used voluntarily, the use of the new logo will be compulsory for all pre-packaged organic products that originate in the 27 Member States.
